Årsmøtetur til Bergen.

Tenk i morgen er det en uke siden jeg dro til Bergen. Det var en kjempetur. Hele opplegget rundt årsmøtet var kjempebra. Jeg bodde tre dører bortenfor butikkene så da kunne jeg shoppe og gå på rommet og hvile og så pån igjen.
Utstillingen var noe for enhver smak, men jeg har bare tatt med bilde av et teppe. Sølvi krokeide sitt.
Ellers var det tur ut i byen, og vi var veldig heldig med været, dvs det regnet ikke. Deilig vårvær.
Det eneste jeg savnet på årsmøtet var et sted der vi kunne sitte og skravle og bli kjent med andre quiltere.

Tenkte jeg skulle gjennopplive bloggen min. Det er faktisk nesten to år siden sist. Kan ikke skjønne det, men sånn er det.
Skal til Bergen på årsmøtet i Quilteforbundet til uka, og der skal det være et quiltebloggforum som jeg kunne tenke meg og delta på. Kanskje noen tips og ny guts til å blogge. Vi får se.
Har bilder av noen ferdige ufo-er som jeg skal prøve å få lagt ut, men vet ikke enda om jeg husker hvordan.

Some new doings.

This is a quilt made with blocks from a block-swap. The stitchery are valentine blocks from Quilt-Stina I think. The quilt is a 40 years of marriage anniversary for my hubby and me.
Tablecloths for my daughter in law.
Another blockswap, with 7 other quiltladies. I turned mine into a bag. And of course our dog Mico.

This is the back of it.
A birthdaygift for my eldest daughter. It says, ingen dag uten kaffe. That means.. No day without coffee.

The days have flown by. We have finally got summer. But today it is raining. We need rain, but I hope it will not last for weeks.

Some of my doings this spring

Have tried out fabric-decopage. It was fun. This heart is for my neighbors birthday. I like it.
This bag I made for my daughters birthday. Lots of them in april.
This is for my second daughter, also decoupage, for her coffee-presser. And it holds the coffee warm.
Two things for myself.A tread-catcher and a pincucion. They are handy.
And at last, some placemats. Also a gift. Is`nt the cats cute?

I have more fotoes ready for you, but I will show them in several posts.
Today we had thunderweather, and that is wery early of the year. So hopefully the summer is on its way. The cold make me so in a bad mode.

The mother-bear is awake, almost...

We had a wonderful weekend with visit from these boys. They had a wonderful time I think.
And so did Mico.
My hubby took this. He and Mico went skiing.
This is my Veranda wiew. Looking foreward to finish it. Think it will be nice.
And this is a ufo from many years ago. I started on Baltimore-blocks, but this is how fare I got. I will finish it and make a pillow of it.
This is going to be a pincushion. Found it in blogland somewhere.
And I have taken on the blocks from Bunny Hill as well. They are cute.
I have found me a handy holder to use when cutting small pieces. No I can cut, and my hands woundt hurt. It is a got to have thing, he he.

At last a big UFO. It is a christmas tablecloth. I dont think it will ever be finished.
These are the things I have been doing the past weeks. I am finally waking up from my " wintersleep". I want the spring to arrive. I am not a winterperson anymore. It is too cold for me.
I need warmth and lots of sun. In meantime I will keep on sewing and knitting.

And of course we had santa visiting. Here he is leaving.
Malin is a bit afraid of the santa, but she got presents anyway.
And I think santa has eaten lots of godies, look at his belly.

And the little girl all dressed up for christmas. Sorry about the turn of the foto. I forgot to turn it before loading them up.
Now all our gests have gone home, and we oldies are left alone. It is a bit sad, and it is good. Can anyone see what I meen?.
Now I can take time to look at my gifts, and maybee read a book 0r two. Take care everyone, and enjoy the rest of the holydays.
